Wales hit the headlines last week when Minister for Economy, Science and Transport Edwina Hart announced that the Welsh Government had given the go ahead to a new £1bn motorway to relieve the M4 bottleneck at Newport. Whilst politically there are issues to be debated about the choice of the ‘black route’ this is, as predicted by us a few weeks ago, a tremendous boost to the Welsh construction industry.

Vinci Facilities Awarded £15m South Wales Refurbishment Project
 

Caerphilly County Borough Council has announced that VINCI Facilities is to be one of the contractors working in partnership to transform around 10,000 homes in an investment programme worth £200m. 

VINCI Facilities’ teams will be refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms and providing new wiring and heating for homes across the borough in the Upper Rhymney Valley area of Caerphilly in a £15m deal over a six year contract period.
