The esteemed ICE Wales Cymru Project Awards 2013 celebrate Welsh civil engineering and giving recognition to outstanding examples of design and construction.

The winners of each category will be announced at the ICE Wales Cymru Annual Dinner and Awards on Friday 17th May 2013 and be presented with a glass trophy and framed certificates by ICE President Barry Clarke. Other entries judged to be worthy will receive framed certificates of commendation.

Award winners will be announced on Twitter during the evening (follow us @ICEWalesCymru) and announced to the media in a full press release.

ICE Wales Cymru's Awards 2013 provides an excellent networking opportunity for those attending this prestigious awards ceremony. The Institution of Civil Engineers President Barry Clarke will be welcomed to Wales by host Geoff Ogden, Chairman ICE Wales Cymru, and will present many of the evening's awards in addition to an address to Members and guests.

• George Gibby Award (for projects over £3 million)

Awards for young civil engineers
• Ben Barr Award for Newly Professionally Qualified Civil Engineer of the Year -sponsored by Symmons Madge
• Graduates & Students Papers Competition Prize 280 civil engineers and other professionals from related industries
