The Well-being of Future Generations Act (2015) Wales together with the Environment Act (2016) has put in place a framework for sustainable development. The built environment sector has the opportunity to take the lead in the success of its delivery because the projects we are building today will have a massive impact on our future generations.
Sophie Howe is the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales and you have the chance to hear first hand her challenge to the industry to think about how they make decisions using the Act. A facilitated discussion after her presentation will give you the chance to share your views on how we will deliver a prosperous, resilient, globally responsible, healthier and more equal Wales of cohesive communities with a vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language.
