CEW Awards 2013
|
Friday night saw over 300 people from the Welsh built environment supply chain celebrate construction best practice at the seventh annual CEW Awards.
The CEW Awards 2013 were once again held at the impressive SWALEC Stadium and guests were able to see first hand evidence of the huge improvements that have taken place in Welsh construction since CEW began ten years ago, as well as the landmark projects and organisational change in the past 12 months. There were some amazing stories behind the high quality of entrants this year. All of the winners demonstrate what can be achieved by commitment to collaborative working, innovation, teamwork and a focus on sustainability are capable of achieving.
From the feedback we have received, the night hosted by the BBC’s Jason Mohammad was a great success. If you were there at the SWALEC Stadium last Friday then do let us know what you thought of the celebrations by sending us an email, or why not call us! You can also catch up with news of the winners and track people's comments online via Twitter, email and LinkedIn – all of the news is promoted using the #CEWAwards2013 hash tag; please use it if you post a message. The nominated charity this year was Breast Cancer Care, attendees at the dinner donated just over £2,300, we would like to thank you all for your generosity.
Our winners will now take part in the Constructing Excellence Awards in London on November 15th – watch out for details via the CEW website and on Twitter @CEWales. Year on year, the Welsh winners have done remarkably well at the national awards setting a high benchmark for Welsh construction and a consistently high standard to measure up to for the rest of the UK. You can read more about the awards on the CEW Awards page.
