G4C Wales – Summer Social Event

Title: G4C Wales – Summer Social Event
Date: Thursday 10th July 2014
Location: Cardiff
Time: 5.30 until late
Cost: £5 on arrival (this will be donated to our designated charity)

Are we building the Wales you want? What’s more are we delivering schemes in the manner that you believe is right? And what legacy will our industry leave for you, your generation and those coming after you?

Big questions – but important ones and that can only be addressed when all of the generations in our industry come together. And what better way to do it than a summer G4C barbeque!

Next Thursday we can reflect on the CEW Awards, eat some great food and discuss what happens next in Welsh construction. The big question is still how to engage with the organisations in the public and private sector not pursuing best practice and collaborative working. CEW plans to begin this by reviewing its No Turning Back report from 2010 – but crucially, we must look forward and make a stronger connection with the young achievers in Welsh construction represented by G4C.

As stated by CEWs Chairman, Richard Wilson in the 2014 Annual Report, ‘One main aim for the CEW Team is to forge links between G4C and the project task groups we coordinate for the Government. The next generation’s perspective is critical to the ongoing success of our industry, as these young leaders, often directors and managers, will move between organisations. ‘

Milica Kitson, Chief Executive of CEW and Leigh Hughes, Director at Bouygues and CEW Board Director, will give an overview of what’s critical to the change agenda in construction and explain why and how G4C Wales can be involved.

You are our future leaders, future decision makers. Come and find out how you can get more involved in the decision making that happens on your behalf.

How to Book: To reserve your place please email CEWales stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend. Substitution of delegates can be made at any time.

Non-attendance by any registered delegate will be charged £20 unless you have informed us by Wednesday 9th July 2014.

We confirm numbers to the venue the day before the event and as numbers cannot be amended after that date we are charged in full for that amount. In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.
