You will have seen countless papers and details of events about the role of IT and importance of BIM in the construction process. But have you really paid much attention? Isn’t it time you saw how consultants in construction, design and engineering make use of the best technology to help them plan, shape and create landmark built environment schemes in Wales? That’s why the South East & South West Wales Best Practice Club is presenting a demonstration of Arup’s interactive wall ‘The Hub’.
It is the future – but it is here and you can see it in real life and use it too, on 7th July at Arup’s offices in Cardiff. Fe wyddoch am lawer o adroddiadau papur newydd a digwyddiadau i drafod manteision Technoleg Gwybodaeth a phwysigrwydd BIM (Modelu Gwybodaeth am Adeiladu) yn y broses adeiladu. Ond a fuoch chi’n gwrando’n astud? Mae’n hen bryd ichi weld sut mae ymgynghorwyr adeiladu, dylunio a pheirianneg yn defnyddio’r dechnoleg orau a diweddaraf sydd ar gael i’w helpu i gynllunio, siapio a chreu adeiladau trawiadol sy’n cyfoethogi amgylchedd Cymru. Felly mae Clwb Arfer Gorau De Ddwyrain a De Orllewin Cymru wedi trefnu cyfle ichi weld The Hub - wal ryngweithiol Arup – ar waith.
Dyma’r dyfodol – ond mae yma nawr ichi ei weld a’i ddefnyddio mewn sefyllfaoedd go iawn. Dewch i Swyddfeydd Arup yng Nghaerdydd ar 7 Gorffennaf i’w flasu drosoch eich hun. Cewch weld pam y dywedodd un cleient: “Cawsom fudd aruthrol o ddefnyddio’r Hub gyda’n prosiectau diweddar i gynnal llu o gyfarfodydd cydlynu hanfodol BIM gyda’r cleient a’r tîm dylunio.”
