According to the pundits, the media and George Osborne the economy is improving and what’s more, there is a big increase in construction looming. We have heard the talk before, but it does appear that the omens are stronger and clearer this time around – it is time for Welsh industry to gear up.

Whilst we know that there is money available for capital projects, not least the protection of Welsh homes from flooding as well as schemes such as potential motor racing circuits, it is also likely Welsh builders might benefit from major projects such as the new nuclear development on Hinkley Point across the Severn Estuary as well as other schemes over the English border.
