DECC are currently considering the next steps in developing revisions to SAP15, in time for the anticipated revisions to Part L in 2016 in England and those that follow the 2016 review in Wales. They are keen to engage with the professions and manufacturers that work with SAP ahead of formal consultation of the proposals to change SAP going forward. As such we would like to invite architects, building services engineers, manufacturers and users of SAP and related approved software to attend a one-off meeting on the 5th December, from 9am-1pm. This provides an opportunity to hear UK government views on the need to review, the latest implications of EU directives, the work of the Zero Carbon Hub in England on the ‘performance gap’ and the role that SAP might play and to seek views from industry.
How to Book: This event is free of charge but you must register in advance. To reserve your place please email CEWales stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend. In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.

Mae’r Adran Ynni a Newid Hinsawdd (DECC) ar hyn o bryd yn ystyried y camau nesaf mewn perthynas ag adolygu SAP 15 cyn y cyflwynir newidiadau disgwyliedig i Part L yn 2016 yn Lloegr a newidiadau yn sgil adolygiad 2016 yng Nghymru. Mae DECC yn awyddus i ymgysylltu â staff proffesiynol a chynhyrchwyr sy’n gweithio gyda SAP cyn dechrau ymgynghori’n ffurfiol ynghylch newidiadau posibl. Rydym felly yn gwahodd penseiri, peirianwyr gwasanaethau adeiladu, cynhyrchwyr a’r rhai sy’n defnyddio SAP a meddalwedd cymeradwy cysylltiedig i fynychu cyfarfod (yr unig un) ar 5 Rhagfyr, rhwng 9am ac 1pm. Mae’n gyfle i glywed barn Llywodraeth y Deyrnas Unedig ynghylch pam fod angen adolygu, oblygiadau diweddaraf cyfarwyddebau’r Undeb Ewropeaidd, gwaith y Zero Carbon Hub yn Lloegr mewn perthynas â’r “bwlch perfformio” a swyddogaeth bosibl SAP. Mae’n gyfle hefyd i DECC glywed barn y rhai sy’n gweithio mewn diwydiant.
