BEST is an exciting new programme which will offer imaginative and flexible training to professionals working in various disciplines across the built environment sector, developing individuals’ skills, improving business profitability and enhancing Wales’ reputation as a front-runner of sustainability in the UK and EU.

The launch will be opened by BEST’s Director, Dr Julie Gwilliam, who will outline the programme, covering the themes of Water, Waste, Low Carbon Energy, and Construction – both existing and new-build.

BEST is supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government, and will offer training to those living or working in any of the Convergence areas from autumn 2013 – July 2015. Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture is the lead sponsor, working with Asset Skills, Constructing Excellence in Wales, CITB-ConstructionSkills, the Energy Saving Trust, Proskills, and Summit Skills.

The programme will be sent out nearer the time.
