Situated adjacent to the ancient Swansea Castle, this unique scheme is set to reinvigorate the historic area whilst offering prestigious duplex apartments and high-quality affordable accommodation in the heart of the city. The development will consist of 26 affordable rented apartments, four duplex apartments available for private purchase and a small number of commercial units to the ground floor. Swansea based contractor, Dawnus Construction Ltd started on site in May 2013 and has recently been completed.

The scheme benefitted from grant funding to include over £2.25m Social Housing Grant, £350,000 from the Swansea Regeneration Area Programme and £200,000 from the Building Enhancement Programme.

In total, Coastal Housing Group has invested almost £8million in regenerating the land alongside Castle Lane and has worked closely with City & County of Swansea, CADW and the Design Commission for Wales throughout the project to ensure that Swansea Castle's historic value is preserved while the development takes place.
