Welcome to our Weekly E-Bulletin

Last week saw a perfect example of how construction does not just deliver great landmark buildings, but how it can play a role in creating dynamic learning environments that transform lives, communities and leave a lasting legacy.

Morriston Comprehensive, which we report on in this week’s newsletter, is a high priority for Swansea, but projects like it should be a priority right across the country is we are to give Wales the economic, social and environmental infrastructure it needs to rebuild itself and take ourselves out of recession. To deliver schemes with such ambition the procurement and project management process must be done right – which means a bold, collaborative approach from the very beginning. That is the only way that Government targets on waste, low carbon and communities can be achieved and the only way we can deliver facilities for Wales with tangible value for the end users planning on enjoying them.

What’s more we have to keep reminding everyone that we are right and showcasing the evidence via workshops and Exemplar’s such as Morriston. So, please, keep spreading the good news!
