Electrifying Rails: Best Practice Clubs
|
CEW Best Practice Clubs are at the core of what the constructing excellence movement is all about: they are the most successful way of sharing and disseminating best practice from projects all over Wales.
The CEW Clubs are at the heart of what makes CEW such a thriving construction community, not just a movement for change. Without them, the ideas, breakfast seminras, learning and best practice gained by our great industry would not be shared and passed on to different schemes, projects and organisations.
They are also where great ideas are nurtured. So, make every effort to support them and why not start with the next breakfast even held by the South West Wales and South East Wales Best Practice Clubs looking at the ABC Electrification. David Jukes, Electrification Programme Development Director, will give an update on the electrification of the South Wales main line between Bristol and Cardiff as part of the Network Rail National Electrification Programme.
ABC Electrification is dedicated to delivering electrification projects that will help to transform the UK's railways. Founded on collaboration, innovation and agility ABC Electrification prides itself on its ethical delivery principles, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, in full and with zero harm. Electrification will mean faster, greener, quieter and more reliable journeys for thousands of passengers. In Wales, this involves a significant construction programme to the South Wales Mainline between the Severn Tunnel and Swansea.
