Is your organisation signed up to the Infrastructure Carbon Review? The Infrastructure Carbon Review sets out a series of actions for government, clients and suppliers to reduce carbon from the construction and operation of the UK’s infrastructure assets, in line with the UK’s climate change commitments. The recommendations have the potential to reduce up to 24 million tonnes of carbon and save the UK £1.46 billion a year by 2050.
TheInfrastructure Carbon Review One-Year-On Conference, held earlier this week,was hosted by the Green Construction Board, together with the Department for Business Innovation & Skills and saw Thames Tideway Tunnel, Lafarge Tarmac, Temple Group, Kier Infrastructure and Barhale Trant Utilities sign up.
