Constructing Excellence in Wales is working with mortgage lenders and building industry experts to launch a research project into the link between energy costs, affordability and mortgage borrowing.

The LENDERS project derives from two reports into construction, lending and energy efficiency. One was produced by the Wales Low/Zero Carbon Hub, while another piece of work was produced by UK GBC in partnership with UCL.

Over the next 18 months the "LENDERS" project will build the evidence base for using more accurate estimates of energy bills in mortgage affordability calculations. If successful, this could allow higher lending for more efficient properties and eventually lead to a greater link between efficiency and property value.

Supported by Innovate UK, LENDERS will draw on the expertise of a diverse range of project partners including Nationwide Building Society, Principality Building Society, BRE, UKGBC, Energy Saving Trust, Arup, University College London (UCL) and Zero Carbon Hub.

Launched January 2016, join us to hear more about the project and the potential impacts on the housing and retrofit market.

How to Book: To reserve your place please email CEWales Events stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend.

Non-attendance by any registered delegate will be charged in full unless you have informed us prior to the event.

In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.

Deillia’r prosiect LENDERS o ddau adroddiad yn ymwneud ag adeiladu, benthyg arian ac effeithlonrwydd ynni - y naill gan Hyb Carbon Isel/Di-garbon Cymru a’r llall gan UK GBC, mewn partneriaeth ag UCL.

Dros y 18 mis nesaf cesglir tystiolaeth gadarn fel y gellir amcangyfrif biliau ynni yn gywirach wrth fesur a yw morgais yn fforddiadwy. Os llwydda’r prosiect, gall arwain at gynnig benthyciadau uwch ar gyfer yr eiddo mwyaf effeithlon ac, yn y pen draw, at gyswllt agosach rhwng effeithlonrwydd a gwerth eiddo.

Gyda chefnogaeth Innovate UK, bydd prosiect LENDERS yn manteisio ar arbenigedd amrywiaeth eang o bartneriaid, yn cynnwys Cymdeithas Adeiladu’r Nationwide, Cymdeithas Adeiladu’r Principality, BRE, Cyngor Adeiladau Gwyrdd y Deyrnas Unedig (UKGBC), yr Ymddiriedolaeth Arbed Ynni, Coleg Prifysgol Llundain (UCL) a’r Hyb Di-garbon.

Ymunwch â ni i glywed mwy am y prosiect, a lansiwyd Ionawr 2016, a’i effeithiau posibl ar y farchnad dai ac ôl-osod (retrofit).

Sut i Archebu: I gadw lle, ebostiwch CEWales Events gan roi eich holl fanylion cyswllt ac enw pob cynrychiolydd sydd am ddod. Gallwch roi enw cynrychiolwyr eraill yn eu lle ar unrhyw adeg.

Er mwyn lleihau gwastraff yn ein digwyddiadau, mae gan CEW bolisi o roi gwybod am fanylion y lleoliad yn unig wrth anfon cadarnhad cofrestru. Mae hyn yn fodd o sicrhau ein bod yn darparu ar gyfer cynrychiolwyr sydd wedi cofrestru ac nad ydym yn gor-archebu ar gyfer unigolion a all ymddangos neu beidio ar y diwrnod.
