Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) Consultation Launch - Cardiff

The Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development in Wales John Griffiths AM will be launching the Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) consultation. The consultation contains proposals to make Site Waste Management Plans a legal requirement for construction and demolition projects to address a number of waste management issues facing the C&D sector in Wales. The Welsh Government is seeking your views on the consultation proposals on implementing SWMPs through regulations including the scope, content and enforcement of SWMPs.

Workshops to facilitate industry participation with the consultation will take place during February and March in Cardiff, Swansea, Llandudno and Wrexham, dates will be announced at the launch.

How to Book: The event is free of charge but you must register in advance. To reserve your place please email CEWales stating your full contact details and the names of all delegates wishing to attend.

In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.
