Title: South East Wales Best Practice Club - Funding of Infrastructure in Wales

As promised, the South East Wales Best Practice Club are following up on the excellent session that it ran at the end of last year in relation to the potential options for the future funding of Welsh Infrastructure. You may recall that we heard from Scottish Futures on their NPD model; BAM in relation to a road project in Holland and the involvement of the pension fund;, as well as the work on the funding model at Ely Bridge in Cardiff within the housing sector.
On 24th September 2013 we will be holding an industry workshop for all interested parties in the construction and engineering industry where we can hear from the Finance Minister’s team about the work on the WIIP and financial initiatives already developed and plans for the future. We will also hear more from other successful financial models, how they could be improved and what the industry considers could be successful Made in Wales solutions.
Be a part of the ideas that might directly impact upon Welsh Infrastructure.
Interest in this event is already building so we expect a high level of support. Therefore it is important that you indicate your interest in participating as early as possible.

Non-attendance by any registered delegate will be charged in full if you are not a member or £20 if you are a member unless you have informed us by Friday 20th September 2013.

We confirm numbers to the venue the day before the event and as numbers cannot be amended after that date we are charged in full for that amount. In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.

Fel yr addawyd, mae Clwb Arfer Gorau De Ddwyrain Cymru yn cynnal sesiwn arall yn dilyn llwyddiant sesiwn y llynedd lle ystyriwyd y posibiliadau ar gyfer ariannu prosiectau seilwaith (infrastructure) yng Nghymru yn y dyfodol. Efallai y cofiwch inni glywed oddi wrth Scottish Futures am eu model NPD, oddi wrth BAM am brosiect ffyrdd yn Yr Iseldiroedd yn gysylltiedig â chronfa bensiwn ac am waith ar fodel ariannu cynllun sector tai sy’n cael ei ddatblygu ger Pont Elái, Caerdydd.
Ar 24 Medi 2013 byddwn yn cynnal gweithdy i bawb sydd â diddordeb yn y diwydiannau adeiladu a pheirianneg lle bydd tîm y Gweinidog Cyllid yn sôn am y gwaith a wnaed ar Gynllun Buddsoddi yn Seilwaith Cymru (Wales Infrasructure Investment Plan - WIIP), cynlluniau ariannol a ddatblygwyd eisoes a’r bwriadau ar gyfer y dyfodol. Byddwn hefyd yn clywed oddi wrth rai a ddatblygodd fodelau ariannu llwyddiannus eraill, yn trafod sut i’w gwella ac yn ystyried pa atebion “Cymreig” a allai lwyddo ym marn y diwydiant.
Dyma’ch cyfle i leisio barn am syniadau a allai effeithio’n uniongyrchol ar brosiectau seilwaith yng Nghymru.
Eisoes mae llawer o ddiddordeb yn y cyfarfod hwn a disgwyliwn i lawer fod yn bresennol. Mae’n bwysig, felly, eich bod yn mynegi diddordeb mewn cymryd rhan cyn gynted â phosibl. Bydd manylion pellach ac agenda lawn ar gael yn nes i’r amser.
