Two young people who completed one of the Construction Youth Trusts Multi-Skills courses have been awarded an apprenticeship with Swansea Council. Luke Cardone (left) will be starting a Plumbing apprenticeship and Brychan Davies (right) will be beginning a Carpentry apprenticeship. Both trainees attended the course at Penlan Community Centre in April 2013. The young people who completed the OCN course ended up being eight times more likely to secure one of the apprenticeships - a fantastic result!

Of the 24 young people who completed the three courses run in partnership with Swansea Council, eight have so far secured employment or apprenticeships, totalling ten including Brychan and Luke. We would like to congratulate all trainees who took part in the mobile classroom courses on the 100% OCN pass rate and the 42% progressions into education training or employment so far.
