Welsh construction perfomance solid
Scotland slipped, Northern Ireland rebound and Welsh construction remains strong according to Glenigan. Wales continued its recent solid form with the value of construction deals totalling £1.32b for the year to January – up 2.7% from the year to December. Vinci stayed as leader of the top 10 contractors in Wales, increasing its lead slightly, but it was Morgan Sindall that made the biggest splash – re-entering the top 10 in third place. Jones Bros fell out of the table having been fifth while Dawnus dropped two places to fifth.
