The Welsh Energy Sector Training (WEST) project is funded by the Low Carbon Research Institute Convergence Energy Programme. WEST works with individuals and commercial enterprises (SMEs in particular) to provide accredited training on industry-relevant new technologies that will provide business opportunities and help Wales deliver on its low carbon agenda.
This one day Welsh Energy Sector Training Conference is free to attend. It provides a series of short interactive ‘taster sessions’ on the WEST training courses available to individuals and private sector organisations interested in developing knowledge and skills in low carbon technologies including marine energy, large scale power generation, the low carbon built environment, solar PV, hydrogen and more.
