Urban Scale
This course provides a basic understanding of early design stage energy assessment tools and their potential in both existing and new developments. One such tool, which is the focus of this course, the Virvil SketchUp plugin provides the opportunity to utilise a dynamic simulation tool (HTB2) through a new, user friendly and free SketchUp interface. It enables an early stage energy assessment of designs at both building and urban scale.
