Welcome to our Weekly E-Bulletin

We make no apology for highlighting the best of the best in Welsh construction in this week’s newsletter by pointing to the headlines about our winners.

The CEW Awards are not easy to win. Standards are high and competition is tough and one of the hardest jobs in our industry is being a judge to split one great project or team from another. On the 12th June, Welsh construction and Wales as a whole confirmed once again that it leads the way in UK construction.

With over 450 people celebrating together in the Celtic Manor all that is great about construction and another 50,000 or more enjoying Welsh football success over Belgium it was a big night all round. But the headlines and stories about what construction enables everyone in our country to achieve will last longer. From Welsh footballers at outstanding (and award winning WFA facilities) to the elderly and infirm in care homes and hospitals, or our children and students experiencing world class education learning environments – our industry has an impact upon all of us.

So, yes, we could show off and yes we could celebrate and yes – I urge you to take a look at the details of our winners and see what really makes the difference between best practice and constructing excellence.
