Hold the Phone, Open the Diary - It's Awards Time

The entries are in, the judging has begun but will you be a winner at this year's awards? With over 80 entries this year the competition already looks very tough so rest assured if your name is called on 4th July you can hold your head high!

Award entries closed this week and the judging panel has done an initial assessment of the entries and standard is again very high – proving that Wales really does lead the rest of the UK in terms of best practice and collaborative procurement. Encouragingly there is an increase in the number of entries from SMEs – the backbone of our industry in Wales – that reflects the sense of recovery that is beginning to be felt throughout the sector.

So, did you enter and are you going to come along to the biggest event in the Welsh construction calendar? Traditionally the tables at the CEW Awards, this time being held at City Hall, Cardiff, sell our fast and the evening has a real party atmosphere with networking and celebrations combining for a memorable evening. Indeed, everyone is a winner – from sponsors, guests and award winners themselves through to everyone connected via the Welsh construction supply chain.

One of the best ways to support the awards is to be a sponsor. Packages range from £750 for a logo on guest lists through to a drinks reception package and prominent branding at the event for £3,000.

But whatever your plans for July and your role in the Welsh built environment – clear a space in your diary for 4 July, City Hall Cardiff and the biggest night of the year – the CEW Awards.
