Coastal Housing Group’s Castle Quarter development has recently played host to Constructing Excellence in Wales’ latest Best Practice Club event.

Attendees were given a presentation on the development and a tour of Castle Quarter which included visiting a selection of the affordable apartments and private apartments for sale. Gareth Davies, Coastal Housing’s Director of Development said, “We’re really pleased to have had the latest event held at one of our developments. The event was a great opportunity for us to share our experiences of how we’ve worked collaboratively with different organisations in order to produce the prestigious Castle Quarter development.” 

Work on the £8m Castle Quarter development started in May 2013 and was carried out by local building contractor Dawnus.  This development consists of 26 affordable rented apartments along with four duplex units overlooking the castle available for private purchase. The development also has a commercial element, with the restaurant chain Las Iguanas occupying one of the units.
