Welcome to our Weekly E-Bulletin

Wales is buzzing right now. The rugby is helping lift spirits and once again our country is convinced it is leading the way in all manner of areas. There is also a buzz within our construction industry too. Injection of cash in private schemes such as Cardiff’s Central Square, the desire for knowledge around issues as anonymous, but as important, as a sprinkler system (as shown by 64 delegates for best practice event) and some great schemes such as the Pen y Cymoedd Wind Energy Project are all tremendous indicators of the excitement and potential within Welsh construction.

But all of this has to be done right. Pen y Cymoedd is a good example of best practice. But we need to learn from these schemes. That’s why we are encouraging as many people as possible to read our review of No Turning Back and why we hope to engage the industry – public sector and private sector clients included – in a debate about the best way to deliver the built environment Wales needs.
