Waste remains at the heart of the CEW agenda. Even though the industry has learned lessons and some of our major landmark schemes have demonstrated excellent waste management results, we still have a lot of work to do achieve the zero waste target. There are many construction industry pundits who doubt it can be done – but the latest project from our team leading the Construction and Demolition Waste programme will aim to prove that zero project waste can be achieved.

Our team has taken on the challenge to provide a dedicated waste management resource, to give advice and where necessary take the lead to find solutions. We believe that by taking this hands on practical approach we can demonstrate that the radical improvements required can be achieved.

We know that best practice and collaborative working delivers value for all the industry's stakeholders. Now we have to prove it and waste is a great place to start.
