Project management is the discipline of planning, organising, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals. Inevitably this needs to be achieved under significant cost and time constraints and very often to high client expectations. It helps when the promoter of the project has a clear vision of what the final outcomes will look like – but this doesn’t always happen!
Against this backdrop the project manager is faced with the challenge to optimise a broad range of inputs and integrate them to deliver the expected outcomes. It’s no wonder that the role of the project manager continues to evolve and present new challenges even to established practitioners.
An integrated approach to project management, however, offers a means to effectively handle internal and external factors to best achieve an on-schedule, on-budget project which meets client expectations and – ideally - maintains good relationships with the client!
Our speakers will highlight the importance of a clear vision, emphasise the need for high quality project management skills and demonstrate the positive outcomes that will result from good project management (and discuss the implications of poor project management!).

We confirm numbers to the venue the day before the event and as numbers cannot be amended after that date we are charged in full for that amount. In order to reduce wastage at our events CEW operates a policy of only notifying venue details when issuing registration confirmation. This ensures we only cater for delegates who have registered and don’t over order for individuals who may or may not turn up on the day.
