CCCW: A Climate for Construction?
Save the Date: Best Practice Conference

Welcome to our Weekly E-Bulletin

It feels like an exciting time in Welsh construction. UK Government ideas about infrastructure; our country’s own economic, social and environmental needs; the latest review of public sector construction and serious and well supported debates around climate change are all coming together at the same time. It is almost like a perfect storm of socio-economic and environmental issues forming together to shape opinions and the decisions of key Welsh construction stakeholders.

So, where do you stand? Do you want to play your part in shaping the infrastructure of our country? Do you believe that whatever plans are made regarding Welsh construction they have to set against the risk of climate change? And you agree with our findings and recommendations in No Turning Back Review – our review of Welsh public sector construction?

There are plenty of opportunities to ensure your voice is heard – via CEW events; Government events and others run by organisations such as ICE, CCCW and other complimentary bodies that work alongside CEW. Or you can comment online or direct to our team on the telephone. You can reach us by social media and you can even write a letter. But never say you have had no chance to shape Welsh construction or how it is delivered and what we build.

Now is the time to make your voice heard.
