The Low Carbon Research Institute Presents: The Low Carbon Built Environment (LCBE) Showcase Event - Ebbw Vale

Title: The Low Carbon Research Institute Presents: The Low Carbon Built Environment (LCBE) Showcase Event
Date: Wednesday 18th September 2013
Location: The General Offices, The Works, Steelworks Rd, Ebbw Vale
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Cost: Free

The LCRI’s Low Carbon Built Environment (LCBE) project team are delighted to invite you to their Showcase Event.

The LCBE project, initiated in 2010, targets the built environment sector at all scales from component to building to region. It also includes all stages of the built environment process from planning through design and construction to operation.

This free event will incorporate an all-day exhibition and optional presentations from each of their seven Work Packages throughout the day. It will be a hands-on opportunity to get a flavour of their work over the past three years, to meet their research teams and to discuss opportunities to take this research out to industry.

The ‘Welsh Energy Sector Training’ (WEST) project, launched September 2011, aims to produce a low carbon educational programme to provide free training on all LCBE Work Package themes.

Training will target those in Convergence areas through traditional education streams and directly to industry through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, as well as a buffet lunch.
